Pastor James G. Brown was born in Florence, SC. He later moved to Fayetteville, NC
where he completed his education. Through Bro. Michael Whiting, Pastor Brown was
lead to True Vine Reasoning Center, under the leadership of Bishops Jobe and Hattie
Lathan, where he later accepted Christ and met his wife Lady Anna (Kelly) Brown
where together they share five adult children and six grandchildren. Pastor Brown was a
part of TVT Male Choir and later became President; he served as a Trustee,
Co-chairman & later Chairman of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Teacher and Man
of the year 2003.
He was also a gospel recording artist with the Joyful Rivernairs and he continues to sing Gods praises and tell his testimony of how God delivered him from drugs. He has a deep desire for street and homeless ministries and enjoys people regardless of who they are.
In 2004 Pastor Brown answered the call to preach the gospel. And in 2006 the vision for Cornerstone Ministries #1 was birthed. Pastor Brown is an anointed and dynamic preacher of the gospel and highly sought to minister God's unadulterated word. In the mist of going forth in the ministry he still finds the time to maintain his Carpentry business, Brown & Brown Carpentry & Construction.
